| Description: |
Monitoring, diagnosis and prognosis of engineering systems are becoming more and more important. Dynamical changes of engineering systems have to be captured in time for safe and reliable operation. These tasks are typically realized by using measurement techniques in combination with advanced signal processing algorithms. Wavelet transform, as a mathematical tool, are effective in processing non-stationary signals, which are often encountered in engineering systems. This invited session is seeking for wavelet applications for engineering system monitoring, diagnosis and prognosis. |
